AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan promises that the Government will to do its bests to combat corruption in the country.

The President’s message was read out by Head of the Staff of the President’s Office Almaz Usenov at the conference on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, which is held on December 9 at the Ala-Archa state residence.

“We will do our bests to develop Kyrgyzstan and prevent people from suffering from corruption. I am confident that the power branches will support all anti-corruption initiatives in a close cooperation.

Fighting against corruption has become one of the main directions of the governmental policy of Kyrgyzstan over the past years. At the initiative of Almazbek Atambayev, the national strategy of anti-corruption policy has been launched in 2012.

A lot of things have been done in the sphere of fighting corruption in Kyrgyzstan over the last years, including improvement of the law, reforms in the law enforcement bodies.

We will continue this work by clearing a number of law enforcement, tax and judicial bodies and the state and municipal services from unclean employees,” Jeenbekov said.
