AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon to visit Uzbekistan.

The Presidents during the state visit of Mirziyoyev signed a joint statement on strengthening friendship and good-neighborliness, as well as 27 documents aimed at further intensification of cooperation in various spheres.

"The talks were held in a confidential, friendly and constructive atmosphere," the leaders noted.

Mirziyoyev said the reached agreements are of great importance not only for two peoples, but also for the entire region.
