
AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on Monday in Dushanbe to discuss bilateral ties, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Iranian diplomat left Tehran for Tajikistan’s Dushanbe on Sunday to attend the 23rd meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
The two vowed to develop bilateral relations in politics, economy, energy, and technology.
They exchanged views on bilateral, regional, and international issues and pointed to huge commonalities between the two countries as a good ground for increasing ties and cooperation between the two countries.
