SCO leaders pledged to deepen their partnership for peace, cooperation, equality, openness, inclusiveness and mutual benefit, and work with the United Nations and other international and regional organizations to jointly promote lasting peace and common prosperity of the world.

They signed a series of agreements and other documents, including the landmark Qingdao Declaration and a five-year action plan for implementing the Treaty on Long-Term Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation of the SCO Member States, which have laid out a road map for future SCO cooperation and development.

In total of 17 documents were inked, including a document to endorse the Program of Cooperation between the SCO Member States in Opposing Terrorism, Separatism and Extremism for 2019-2021. The Member States reinstated their commitment to combating illegal drug trafficking based on the SCO Antidrug Strategy and the Program of Action to implement this strategy.
