
AKIPRESS.COM - Director of the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Akram Madumarov today met with Head of the KOICA Kyrgyzstan Office Oh Donggil.
Civil servants of the Kyrgyz Republic will head to the Republic of Korea in order to study a master’s degree program in different fields at the top Korean universities.
The main aim of the Scholarship Program is to provide the opportunity for civil and municipal servants of the Kyrgyz Republic to obtain a master’s degree at universities of Korea.
The main requirements are English proficiency and at least 2 years’ work experience in civil service for civil servants, at least 2 years’ work experience in the appropriate field for public sector officials.
Applicants have been screened and interviewed by professors of leading Korean universities at the KOICA.
KOICA Scholarship Program is implemented within the framework of Capacity Improvement and Advancement for Tomorrow Scholarship Program, which is aimed to supporting human resource development of partner countries. This project has been implemented in collaboration with the State Personnel Service from 2016: currently the 3rd group of KOICA scholars has been formed. 2 groups were sent to Korea in 2016 and 2017, each of 11 people.
