Russia-Turkmenistan strategic partnership agreement comes into force
AKIPRESS.COM - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov have exchanged instruments of ratification of the strategic partnership treaty.
The treaty between the two countries was signed by the presidents in Ashgabat on October 2, 2017, TASS reported.
The two ministers also signed a protocol on exchanging instruments of ratification.
The ceremony was held on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of the five Caspian states (Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Azerbaijan) in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
