AKIPRESS.COM - Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Republican Center for Quarantine and Highly Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic held a training seminar on prevention and control of brucellosis for students and health workers in the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic from September 19 to 21, 2018.
The seminar was attended by medical workers of the Family Medicine Center, students and teachers of primary and secondary schools in three regions of the Osh region.
During the seminar, one of the staff from the Republican Center for Quarantine and Highly Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic who participated in '2016 KOICA Scholarship program for master's degree' shared his knowledge and experience gained during his studies in Korea on the prevention and control of brucellosis, and other staffs from the Republican Center conducted practical sessions to prevent brucellosis from infecting children with him.
