AKIPRESS.COM - Days of Сulture of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan kicked off in Dushanbe on October 15 at the national library of Tajikistan.

The Ministers of Culture of the two countries, mayors and representatives of Dushanbe city administration, Turkmen Embassy staff in Tajikistan, as well as art and media representatives have attended the opening ceremony.

The book written by autocratic president of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented as part of the Days of Сulture of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan, according to the release of the Turkmen foreign ministry.

Artists of the two countries discussed Turkmen-Tajik humanitarian cooperation. Paintings and fine arts items from museums of all regions of Turkmenistan were exhibited during the days.

The culmination of the event was a gala concert Turkmen folk music and dance groups.
