
AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaa Battulga received Ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and its member states to Mongolia both based in Mongolia and outside.
21 ambassadors of the EU and its member states, including Germany, Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands, and representatives of the diplomatic missions of other EU member states that are accredited to Mongolia were in attendance.
On behalf of the ambassadors, Ambassador of the EU to Mongolia Mr. Traian Laurentiu Hristea delivered remarks confirming the EU's readiness for cooperation with Mongolia, promoting bilateral trade and investment relations.
Battulga answered to the questions of the ambassadors and discussed the development of tourism and agriculture sectors in Mongolia.
Battulga said Mongolia is interested in inviting European tourism and agriculture specialists to Mongolia and learning their expertise.
The President also highlighted the importance of celebration of the 30th anniversary of bilateral relations between Mongolia and the EU the next year.
