AKIPRESS.COM - Celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and People’s Republic of China has been launched at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 8, Montsame reports.
Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Enkhtuvshin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia Xing Haiming and other officials attended the ceremony. Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin highlighted the active implementation of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in all fields, increased number of mutual high level visits and meetings, and progress in bilateral cooperation. He also noted that friendly relations with China and mutually beneficial cooperation is foreign policy priority of Mongolia.
Government of China gives special importance to the relations with neighbors, especially Mongolia, pursuing policy of ‘friendly, sincere, open and accessible relations and sharing benefits of cooperation’, which opens broader opportunities for development of relations.
Launching of a book ‘Things that we know and don’t know about friendship between Mongolia and China’ and opening of a photo exhibition were held during the ceremony. Photos of major constructions funded by China over the last 70 years are displayed at the exhibition. The events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations will continue throughout the year.
