AKIPRESS.COM - All 12 border checkpoints for auto vehicles will be closed on December 29, Sunday for the Day of Restoration of National Freedom and Independence of Mongolia, Montsame reports.

In compliance with intergovernmental agreements established by Mongolia with its two neighbor countries, Russia and China, on border ports and their working regimes, border crossing points for auto vehicles will be closed during national holidays.

However, international railway and flights will proceed as scheduled timetable.

The 12 auto checkpoints of Mongolia that borders with China and Russia are Zamiin-Uud, Gashuunsukhait, Bulgan, Baitag, Khavirga, Bichigt, Shiveekhuren, Khangi, Burgastai, Dayan, Bayankhoshuu and Sumber.
