Chinese language club opens in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - The Chinese Cultural Center on Wednesday opened a Chinese language and culture club, Xinhua reports.

"Our club offers an opportunity for Mongolians to improve their Chinese speaking and listening and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture," Khurtsbaatar, a senior official at the Chinese Cultural Center, told Xinhua.

People can watch Chinese movies, read books and play games at the club twice a week on Wednesday and Friday.

In addition, teachers at the club will give lectures on how to improve Chinese speaking and listening skills and hold conversations with students in Chinese.

"I am really happy that anyone interested in Chinese language and culture can come here to exchange their views and improve their knowledge of Chinese," said Boldbaatar Tergel, a third-year student of the Mongolian State University of Education.
