AKIPRESS.COM - The parliament of Mongolia adopted bill on amendments to the Law on Elections of Mongolia on December 20, 2019, which is now in effect.

The law says “Individuals’ internal migration from one to another administrative unit shall be stopped from February 1 of the year of a regular election, …shall be resumed the following day of the elections.”

Accordingly, internal migration has been temporarily stopped until the voting day.
