Kazakhstan among top 20 fastest growing countries for tourism
AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan was placed in 20th position in the list of countries fastest growing in tourism sphere, The Independent reported referring to the UN WTO.
According to the UN WTO, the number of tourists in Kazakhstan increased by 10% in 2019.
The number of tourists increased by 4% last year than in 2018 reaching to 1.5 billion.
Myanmar is in top 3 in the ranking (40.2%) followed by Puerto Rico (31.2%) and Iran (27.9%).
Uzbekistan gained the 4th place in the ranking (27.3%).
