AKIPRESS.COM - Eight people died and several dozens were injured as a result of disorders in Kordai district, Jambyl region of Kazakhstan, Interior Minister Yerlan Turgumbaev told a briefing today.
According to preliminary reports, more than 30 houses, 15 stores and 23 vehicles were damaged.
47 people were detained and taken to police. Two rifles were seized.
The situation has stabilized now.
The conflict between the villagers occurred last night. Social media users claim it was conflict between the Kazakhs and Dunghans.
