Mongolian businessmen donate money to China for fighting coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - A group of Mongolian businessmen have donated a total of MNT 140 million to China to help in the battle against coronavirus, news.mn reported. 

This charitable act was initiated by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI). On Monday, the Mongolian delegates handed over the money to the Embassy of China in Mongolia.

In the framework of the initiative: the MNCCI itself donated MNT 25 million, the Mongolia-China Business Council at the MNCCI gave MNT 5 million, Lava Leisure LLC – MNT 10 million and Talyn Khishig Mining LLC donated MNT 100 million respectively.

As we have reported, the Government of Mongolia has provided USD 200,000 in financial aid to China.

Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Chai Wenrui said that the Government of Mongolia, its public organizations, businesses and individuals are providing huge assistance to the people of China in this difficult period.
