AKIPRESS.COM - A 35-year-old Mongolian citizen who tested positive for coronavirus died in South korea, Montsame reports citing Consulate General of Mongolia in Seoul.
The man was receiving treatment in the city hospital and died on February 25 at 5:40 pm local time.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia said that the citizen was going to undergo an organ transplantation surgery due to liver cirrhosis.
He tested positive for coronavirus on February 23. Six other citizens who contacted him have not been infected with COVID-19.
The man's death was not caused by coronavirus, but his illness that was detected earlier, the hospital said.
