Mongolia extends coal and petroleum export suspension until March 15

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Emergency Commission of Mongolia decided to put off coal and petroleum export until March 15, which was planned to commence from March 2, Montsame reported.

In conjunction with novel coronavirus infection recorded in distance of over 100 km from the border of Mongolia, it was decided to ban the export of raw materials from February 10 to March 2 through Gashuunsukhait, Shivee Khuren, Bichigt and Bulgan border checkpoints. Head of the State Emergency Commission U.Enkhtuvshin explained the extension term for resuming the export as the conditions have not been ensured to commence transportation from March 2.

According to the latest information, 78.499 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections have been recorded in China with 2747 deaths and 32.544 people recovered.
