AKIPRESS.COM - The World Health Organization has been warning that Mongolia especially Umnugobi and Dundgobi provinces are at high risk of COVID-19 infection, Montsame reported.

Therefore, individuals and entities have been giving donations to the Ministry of Health and the State Emergency Commission.

‘Oyu Tolgoi’ Company has donated MNT 310 million in total. ‘Gobi Oyu’ Development Support Fund of the company donated MNT 200 million to the Emergency Commission of Umnugobi aimag, MNT 10 million to Emergency Commission of Khanbogd soum and another MNT 100 million to the campaign initiated by the Mongolian National Mining Association.

In addition, staffs of ‘Erdenes Mongol’ Company, Mining Legal Foundation, Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority, ‘Shivee-Ovoo’ JSC and ‘ETT Mining’ donated their one-day salary within the donation campaign themed ‘One World, Let’s unite with responsibility’’.
