Mongolia learning China's experience with coronavirus infection

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health of Mongolia organized an online meeting in collaboration with the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), sharing experience on diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 infection, Montsame reports. 

Minister of Health D.Sarangerel, specialists of the relevant authorities and departments of the Ministry of Health, epidemiological and clinical teams as well as executive officials of the National Health Commission of the PRC and the Peking University attended the online meeting.    

At the start of the meeting, Minister D.Sarangerel provided information on Government’s measures being taken against the outbreak of COVID-19 infection and their progress. Noting that the online meeting is significant in this time, the Minister thanked communities of the Embassy of China in Mongolia and the National Health Commission of the PRC for their active participation in organization of the meeting.  

During the meeting, Gao Zhanchen, head of respiratory and resuscitation emergency assistance department of People’s Hospital of the Peking University delivered presentation under the topic ‘Diagnosis and Treatment of coronavirus infection’ and thoroughly introduced about the virus infections.    

Furthermore, attendees of the meeting put forth a request to hold online meetings on other necessary timely matters in the future.
