Mongolia conducted 373 tests for COVID-19, all negative

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia conducted 373 tests for COVID-19 on Thursday and the results were all negative, according to the country's National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD).

"A total of 373 tests for COVID-19 were conducted at two laboratories of the NCCD yesterday and all results were negative," Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the center, said at a press conference on Friday, Xinhua reports.

One suspected case has been reported and isolated in Zamiin-Uud soum (administrative subdivision) of Dornogovi Province, Nyamkhuu said.

As of Friday, Mongolia has confirmed 31 coronavirus patients, including four foreigners. Of the 31 cases, five have recovered so far, according to the NCCD.

A French national tested positive for the virus on March 10, becoming the first case in Mongolia.
