AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga visited the construction sites of 416 km railway connecting Zuunbayan with Tavantolgoi, and 240km railway connecting Tavantolgoi with Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint, Montsame reports. 

Railway construction is in progress regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic, the report said. 

The President was accompanied by Minister of Defense N.Enkhbold, Minister of Road and Transport Development B.Enkh-Amgalan, Member of Parliament B.Delgersaikhan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Budget B.Choijilsuren MP, Chairman of the Mongolian Armed Forces Major-General D.Ganzorig and other related officials.
