AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian nationals, including students, who are in European part of Russia, will be returned on May 25 by a chartered flight, the Embassy of Mongolia to the Russian Federation said.
Mongolians in cities along the Ural Mountains and Western Siberia of Russia will be also allowed to enter to their home country through Kyakta-Altanbulag border checkpoint on May 26-27, Montsame reported.
As of May 20, there are about 1000 Mongolian citizens who requested to return from Russia. With this scheduled evacuation, half of them or about 500 people will return to the home country.
For the evacuation, students, who have applied for urgent return due to worsened conditions of health and safety in their universities and dormitories, or study in the city alone or in a few number, as well as people, who applied for return earlier, and young children, pregnant women, people with medical reasons and female students are given priority.
The Embassy informed that the process of evacuating Mongolian citizens from Russia will continue further.
