Mongolia reports 18 new coronavirus cases

AKIPRESS.COM - 18 new cases are confirmed in Mongolia when 51 peacekeepers were tested for coronavirus after arrival from Afghanistan on July 14. 408 tests for COVID-19 were made in total, Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases Dulmaa Nyamkhuu told a press briefing today.

10 peacekeepers evacuated from Afghanistan on July 12 have also been tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, 28 out of 113 peacekeepers tested positive for COVID-19, Montsame reports.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia reached 261.

207 patients recovered. 54 people are receiving treatment.
