AKIPRESS.COM - Belarus invites Kyrgyzstan to prepare a roadmap for cooperation, Belarus Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronog at a meeting on July 17 in Minsk, BelTA reported.
“We need to put our cooperation on a systemic track. We need a roadmap for our agencies to work in a coordinated way and look for projects that are advantageous for the two countries," Roman Golovchenko said.
Belarus has always pushed systemic development of relations with Kyrgyzstan in both multilateral and bilateral formats. In recent years, the trade between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan has not been as successful as it could have been. “In January-May we had a small increase in trade but this is not enough for optimism,” Gologvchenko said.
He noted that Belarus is interested in establishing joint productions in Kyrgyzstan. For example, work on projects to manufacture electrical products and elevators is in progress.
