Mongolia-Germany bilateral relations discussed

AKIPRESS.COM - State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar had an online meeting with Jasper Wieck, Deputy Director General for Asia and the Pacific of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, on January 26, Montsame reports.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged information on the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic and views on Mongolia-Germany bilateral relations and cooperation. Both sides agreed to expend bilateral economic and trade cooperation and on implementing projects in potential sectors. This issue can be discussed at the Joint working group of Governments in May of this year.

They also exchanged views on regional cooperation and discussed about the mutual support within the UN and other international organizations.

It was agreed that a consultative meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany will be held in September 2021 in Ulaanbaatar.
