Mongolia scheduled 12 chartered flights to airlift its citizens from abroad

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia decided to shorten isolation period of repatriated citizens to 10 days, said Director General of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs L.Munkhtushig.

12 charter flights are scheduled for March. Six charter flights will be operated to Seoul, Korea and two of them will be transit flights. As the number of people infected with coronavirus is high in South Korea, transit passengers will be brought separately from citizens coming from South Korea.

Three charter flights will be conducted to Tokyo, Japan to bring students who are living in the country or graduating from their universities.

One charter flight is scheduled to Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on March 5. According to the Mongolian Embassy, 300-400 Mongolians are in Kazakhstan.
