Mongolia imposes 15-day lockdown from Saturday

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene introduced the Cabinet’s decision April 8 to impose strict lockdown measures or enter into the Red Level – Level 4 from April 10 to 25, Montsame reports.

As the number of infections continues to increase among citizens that have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine due to their non-compliance of control measures, the PM informed that the decision was made in order to create the conditions for fully vaccinated citizens to not contract the virus.

He then urged the citizens, who have received the first dose, to continue complying with the infection prevention guidelines.
