
AKIPRESS.COM - The Toktogon Altybasarova Public Foundation handed over 85 books to the library of Tyup district.
These books were collected by grandchildren of 150 orphans from World War II sieged Leningrad, who were raised by Toktogon Altybasarova after evacuation to Kyrgyzstan.
Library director Fatima Mataeva thanked Public Foundation Chairman Ular Bolotkanova and Toktogon Altybasarova's son Marat Abdiev.
The Altybasarova Public Foundation also handed over 90 books to Issyk-Kul regional library, and 60 books to the school.
235 books were handed over in total.
