Mongolia reports 349 new cases of COVID-19, 7 deaths
AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia recorded 349 new coronavirus cases, the Ministry of Health reported on May 18.
318 new cases were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar, six were hospital-acquired cases, and 25 cases were detected in rural regions.
The nationwide infection tally hit 49,524 cases.
877 patients recovered during the day making the total number of recovered patients 42,721.
3,870 patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals in Ulaanbaatar city and the rural regions, 104 of them are in serious condition.
7 more people died of COVID-19 during the day raising the country's death toll to 221.
