AKIPRESS.COM - Lectures, roundtable discussions and an open film screening are held by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan in the first National Pavilion of Uzbekistan at the International Architecture Biennale in Venice from August 24-31, UzA reports.

The program includes events called Mahalla Stories.

Sessions will be held on Uzbekistan and the mahallas as a source of inspiration for artistic work, the context and historical background of the sound ecology movement and the soundscape and field recording practices from the early 70’s till today.
