AKIPRESS.COM - Residents of the village of Kyzyl-Bulak in Kadamjai district of Batken region started repairing road using their own strengths on September 28.
Member of the rural council Kuturm Bekbolot Gylamov said that a month ago, people started patching holes on the road of international importance on their own and then this idea spread onto the village of Kyzyl-Bulak. Now the road is being repaired by the villagers, the road runs near the mudflow canal.
"There are also sections of local roads that are very narrow, so accidents often occur there. Now those spots are being expanded. Everyone, young and old, is involved in improving the conditions of the village. And those who cannot participate themselves prepare food. They also bring the workers some drinks," Gylamov said.
