AKIPRESS.COM - The school was inaugurated in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan, which construction started 16 years ago.
The school was opened in Kanjyga village, 105 km away from Suzak.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by district vice governor Gulmira Kambarova, local government officials and villagers.
Construction of the school started back in 2005 but stopped a year later, school principal Zamirbek Tashmatov said.
Construction resumed for a short period in 2015. The construction process then restarted in 2018 and finished in 2021.
"The school is attended by 113 students. 14 teachers and 2 technical workers work here. Before we used a building for 40 students. Now we have a modern school with all conditions and a gym," the school principal said.
