Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan discuss bilateral cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - The 11th meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh intergovernmental commission for economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was held in Ashgabat.

The delegation of Turkmenistan was led by Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov. The delegation of Kazakhstan was led by Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar.

The agenda of the meeting which was attended by the heads and representatives of a number of ministries and agencies of the two countries, included a broad range of issues concerning implementation of interstate agreements, as well as priority areas of further development of partnership between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

Cooperation in oil and gas and transport sectors was prioritized. The countries agreed to bolster cooperation in enrgy, logistics, agriculture, food and processing industries.
