Mongolia attends inauguration ceremony of President of South Korea

AKIPRESS.COM - Chief of the Staff of the President of Mongolia Ya.Sodbaatar attended the inauguration ceremony of President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Seok-youl as a special envoy of President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, Montsame reports.

On the following day of the inauguration ceremony, Chief of Staff Ya.Sodbaatar paid a courtesy call on President Yoon Seok-youl.

Conveying the warmest greetings of the President of Mongolia, Chief of Staff Ya.Sodbaatar expressed Mongolia’s commitment to further strengthen the ‘Strategic Partnership” between the two nations.

He noted that Mongolia exempted visa requirements for tourists of the Republic of Korea with a view to intensifying the post-pandemic economic recovery and expanding the exchange of citizens of the two countries. In accordance with this, Mr. Sodbaatar asked the President to pay attention to facilitating the travel of Mongolian citizens to the Republic of Korea.

He also emphasized that Mongolia aims to stabilize political dialogue with the Republic of Korea, increase air cargo in the framework of liberalization of air relations, and develop cooperation in geology and mining. Moreover, he handed over an invitation from President U.Khurelsukh to President Yoon Seok-youl to visit Mongolia at his convenience.
