AKIPRESS.COM - 537 families of migrant workers live in the town of Karakol, Issyk-Kul region, social development department's representative Asel Asanbekova said at the meeting of the public council for migration.
These 537 families have 586 children. Parents of 34 children are domestic migrants. Those children were identified during household visits and by social pedagogues at schools.
Most families of migrant workers need social support.
Some women have not registered marriages and can't obtain alimonies from their former husbads, who work abroad.
