Bishkek CHPP 60 years ago

AKIPRESS.COM - The Archival Service of the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyz Republic shared an archival photo of the Bishkek combined heat and power plant taken in 1962.

The construction of the Bishkek CHPP began in 1958. The first turbine unit was put into operation on September 14, 1961.

The last boiler of the fourth stage was put into operation in 1977, the last turbine - in 1976.
