Uzbekistan vaccinates more than 16.1 million against COVID-19

The vaccination campaign against coronavirus began on April 1, 2021.
Only two types of vaccines, ZF-UZ-VAC2001 and Astra Zeneca were used in the first months. Now the number of used vaccines reaches seven.
According to the Ministry of Health, more than 62.3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been used to date.
Over 16.1 million people have been fully vaccinated. 14.2 million citizens were vaccinated with booster doses.
96.9 percent of the population of Uzbekistan are vaccinated with the first dose, and 75.3 percent are fully inoculated against coronavirus infection.
