AKIPRESS.COM - The "Trumpet of Peace" International Festival started in Tashkent on August 22 with the participation of military bands of member states and observers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, UzA reported.

The military band from Belarus performed in the square of Palace of Arts "Friendship of Peoples", the military band from Russia on the square of the Committee of Interethnic Relations, the military band from Tajikistan on the square of "Ashkhobod" Park, the military band from Kyrgyzstan on the square of the shopping complex "Megaplanet", the military band from India in the Blue Domes Alley, and the military band from China on the square of the State Academic Grand Theater named after Alisher Navoi.

Music glorifying bravery and courage, musical works of world classics, pop and jazz music were performed at the festival. Drill performances were demonstrated.
