"Thank you, Mr. President [Kassym-Jomart Tokaev] for a productive discussion of U.S.-Kazakhstan relations with congressmen Jimmy Panetta and Tom Suozzi following today's state of the nation address," the embassy said.

On Thursday morning, Tokayev delivered an address to the nation of Kazakhstan at a joint session of the houses of parliament, Interfax reported.
