AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan exported 119,800 tons of melons and watermelons abroad for $33.2 million in January-August, the State Statistics Committee reports.

This year, the export of melons and watermelons increased by 50,100 tons (by 71.8%) compared to the previous year.

Uzbekistan exported melons and watermelons mainly to Kazakhstan (53,600 tons), Russia (26,900 tons), Kyrgyzstan (19,900 tons), Tajikistan (12,200 tons), Latvia (2,400 tons), Belarus (2,300 tons), and other countries (2,400 tons).
