AKIPRESS.COM - Women from International village, Leilek district, Batken region, have appealed to the leadership of Kyrgyzstan.
They ask to increase the number of personnel of the Border Guard Service at the border, since population of International village and nearby villages need to harvest crops and prepare for winter.
Women say Tajik servicemen do not allow them to do this now.
Children fear to play outdoors, they said.
International village was captured by people in military uniform, who came from the territory of Tajikistan during the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. Nationals of Tajikistan looted the local market and set it on fire.
