AKIPRESS.COM - Syrdarya region administration hosted a meeting between the deputies of the region governor and representatives of the Hanjin Agriculture and Industry Co.Ltd. of the Republic of Korea.

The economic and investment potential of the region was presented. The parties exchanged views on the investment attractiveness of Syrdarya region.

A proposal was made to establish the operation of SMART greenhouses based on Korean technologies in Gulistan district and to export agricultural products. The cost of this project is $10 million. The head of the company was informed that a land plot suitable for the implementation of the project can be acquired through the “e-auksion” electronic platform in the prescribed manner.

Following the talks, the parties decided to implement the agreement, UzA reported.
