AKIPRESS.COM - Three people were injured in the explosion of a boiler house at school No. 3 named after Tashenov in Arshaly village of Akmola region, vlast.kz reported.

The boiler house workers were injured, head of Arshaly district Murat Balpan says.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred at about 1 pm in a boiler house located next to the school. The workers had to be pulled out from under the rubble. The video distributed on social media depicts the damaged windows of the school building. There were no injuries among the students.

According to the regional education department, an operational headquarters was created under the chairmanship of the first deputy head of Akmola region, the head of the education department went to the scene.

"Measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences and supply heat. None of the children were injured, they were transferred to distance learning. All boiler houses in schools will be checked in this region," the department said.

The injured workers are provided with all the necessary medical assistance. Those responsible for the explosion causes will be held accountable for what happened, the department added.
