AKIPRESS.COM - Governor of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov received General Manager of Türkiye’s Alarko Holding Altek, Hakan Aytekin, UzA reported.

The parties discussed the construction of a solar photovoltaic power plant in Fergana region and the financial aspects of this promising project. Hakan Aytekin noted that in Türkiye the company is working on a project with a capacity of 1000 MW and, if the necessary conditions are created, it is ready to implement the same project in Fergana region.

Responsible persons have been appointed to fully support the proposal of the Turkish partners and familiarize them with the suitable area for the project in Beshariq, Uzbekistan and Fergana districts. An action plan for the implementation of the project will be developed after determining the place for construction.
