AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan has sent humanitarian aid to Syria for the population affected by the earthquake, Uza reported.

About 50 tons of humanitarian aid were sent, including clothes for children and adults, household appliances, canned food, dried fruits, semi-finished products, children’s cereals, blankets and pillows, and hygiene kits.

The necessary means and products for life in the form of humanitarian aid will be delivered by plane from Uzbekistan to Syria by responsible officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Transport.
