
AKIPRESS.COM - Fergana State University delegation visited India to become acquainted with the activities of higher education institutions in the country. The delegation got acquainted with the educational process and the conditions at Delhi University, UzA reported.
The parties discussed cooperation at the international conference on Uzbekistan – India relations held at the Ghalib Institute in New Delhi. The Uzbek side presented a report on cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries.
The event was attended by Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Dilshod Akhatov. The delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, exchanged views on the improvement of the qualifications of teachers, the exchange of students.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University, as well as the Jamia Millia Islamia University, teach the Uzbek language as a foreign language.
