AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi in IAEA headquarters in Vienna on April 3.

Secretary General Omuraliev touched upon on “Turkic World Vision-2040” and OTS Strategy for 2022-2026 documents, provided update on the results of the Budapest meeting of the OTS Energy Ministers and OTS Program on Energy Cooperation for 2023-2027 and its respective Action Plan as the basis for the institutional relations with IAEA on a mutually agreed areas.

The IAEA Director General Grossi underlined that that IAEA is implementing many projects in the OTS member states bilaterally and they are ready to implement joint projects to further this cooperation.

The Secretary General and the Director-General have agreed to work as partners and organise a meeting between the OTS Secretariat and IAEA Secretariat to prepare joint programs and projects to be implemented in the Member States of the OTS.
