Germany to supply production lines for two plants in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Arton and Wehrhahn Gmbh on May 2 signed a contract for the supply of German production lines for two new plants for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete in Uzbekistan. The event took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, UzA reported.

A production line for two factories in Urgench and Andijan will be delivered in 2023 under the document signed as part of the Uzbekistan – Germany Business Forum, according to the O’zsanoatqurilishmateriallari Association.

The factories will be launched at the end of 2024. The production capacity of the Andijan plant will be 600,000 cubic meters per year, of the Urgench plant 300,000 cubic meters per year. The total cost is 46 million euros.

Representatives of the companies also signed a memorandum on the construction of two new plants in Navoi and Termez cities with the supply of a production line, the launch of which is scheduled for 2024-2025.

Aerated concrete plants in Termez and Navoi will also be equipped with German production lines. The annual capacity of the Termez plant will be 300,000 cubic meters, of the Navoi plant 600,000. A plant producing fiber cement panels with a capacity of 2,250,000 square meters per year will also be built in Navoi. The total cost of the project is 75 million euros.
