AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov today received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliyev.

The sides exchanged views about priority areas of activities and further development of the Organization.

President Japarov took a note of the growing role of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on international areand and productive work of Kubanychbek Omuraliyev as OTS Secretary General.

The OTS Secretary General outlined activities of the Organization, plans for 2023, efforts made to increase effectiveness of Turkic cooperation institutes.

A special attention was paid to preparation for organization of the 5th World Nomad Games, which will be held in 2024 in Kazakhstan, ongoing talks with other international organizations on development of transport corridors for advancement of trade and economic ties between Turkic states.

The sides reaffirmed commitment to further development of friendly and brotherly relations between OTS member states.
